Rashid Salem is a real estate developer and the Founder and Principal of a national development firm responsible for billions of dollars in luxury residential, mixed-use and affordable housing projects. Since establishing the company in 2011, Salem has guided its growth across major U.S. markets including Washington, DC, Dallas, Prince George’s County, Maryland and Miami, delivering more than 3,250 residential units and over five million square feet of development through disciplined execution and a focus on long-term value creation.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland and raised in Glen Burnie, Rashid Salem entered real estate development through direct, hands-on experience rather than a traditional academic pathway. His earliest redevelopment project — transforming a blighted row home that required rezoning, entitlement navigation and full reconstruction — established the execution-driven mindset that would define his career.
Rashid Salem founded his real estate development outfit at age 25 and has since spent more than a decade leading complex development initiatives across multiple jurisdictions, managing construction risk, structuring project financing and guiding large-scale mixed-use delivery.
